Dr Ian Young
Dr Ian Young works at Peninsula Private, Frankston Hospital and is a serving Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Royal Australian Navy.
Ian has had numerous operational deployments to areas such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Bougainville.
Ian’s contribution to the community goes far beyond working in the public system to assist those who can’t afford private health cover.
His lifesaving work abroad and ongoing contribution to the Royal Australian Navy are a testament enough to this hard working husband and father or four children, however he does not stop there –
Ian enjoys distance charity events including Marko’s Magic Ride in 2019 from Adelaide to Melbourne, Ride for Chloe 2017 from Melbourne to Wollongong and ANZAC Ultra 2015 in Canberra running 150km to raise money for Legacy.
